74rd Annual Meeting in SATS

Dear colleagues, collaborators and friends,

It is a great pleasure for the Organizing Committee to welcome you to the Scandinavian Association of Thoracic Surgery annual meeting in Trondheim, Norway 9–11 September 2026.

The venue for the meeting is the Clarion Hotel Trondheim, Scandinavia’s largest conference hotel, offering a superb location by the Trondheim fjord and within proximity to the city center.

This will be an in-person conference featuring plenary lectures, invited talks, abstract presentations, and workshops. The scientific program will encompass a broad range of topics within cardiothoracic surgery, cardiothoracic intensive care, and nursing. Dedicated sessions will cover valve surgery, coronary treatment, thoracic aortic surgery, ECMO, general thoracic surgery, and robotic surgery. Nursing topics will be integrated into the main program as well as addressed in separate nursing sessions.

Renowned experts and emerging researchers from Scandinavia and beyond will contribute to a high-quality program highlighting the latest developments in our field.
